Just gave my lair a good deep cleaning, and I want to show it off before my parents make it a storage room again after I've gone off to college.

This is what you see when you first get down the stairs. That's a poker table, great for any kinda game, tabletop or otherwise.

Posted Image
This is a sound system I built and keep next to the bar. The subwoofer rattles the whole house when I use it. You'd be surprised how good the sound is.

Posted Image
This is to the right of the stairs. All the furniture is hand-me-down.

Posted Image
A better close up of the battlestation. I've spent 90% of my days here for the past few months.

Posted Image
Some of the collectibles. I've had most since I was a kid.

Posted Image
Since I do a lot of electronic work (mostly PCs), I have a nice workspace.

Posted Image
This is where I play some of my older consoles. That PS2 on top of the TV is fully functional(for now).

There's a thread where you post a picture of yourself, that's the closest one I saw.

Edit: Oh wait, it did have pictures of living spaces, just not recently.

Awesome cave

I don't really have a camera besides my shitty cellphone one and my zone isn't really something I'd want to get a photo of at the moment so maybe I'll post mine later.

Well damn. We just moved most of our furniture out of our place so it looks too different to show. I'll take some pics of my room tomorrow though.

Here's an old picture from christmas of our (gaming) living room:

Posted Image

It's pretty much impossible to get the charm of the place just from that, but we have 3 gamers here so we have 3 TVs (so we don't fight and can have tv on during games), thats a section couch, so theres a second one on the other side and a loveseat that floats in between them. We have 4 or 5 tables we move around for food or playing Magic, we got like every system except PS3, and in the case of needing space for multiple beer pong games we have a table that fits in there.

I will be sad when we move :(

I currently live at home and my living space is completely uninteresting because I'm not going to be putting up any of my decorations until I move out again.

I think brodaks living space is larger than my entire first floor. My room is also the size equivalent to your electronic workspace. I live in a tiny government box, that's also pretty damn old. I think my room also has only 3 electrical outlets.

I'll post pics after I clean up a bit.

Man Embrodak, I didn't realise that you were so hardcore. I see electronics and instruments scattered everywhere, and a shiny pair of M-Audio monitors. You must be made of money.

I've shown you guys my room before and it hasn't changed much at all. The only difference might be the wall lamp in the corner, but otherwise it's the same old no-posters, cluttered units with nothing of particular interest. If I'm shitting money then I might get a Logitech G9x, Rokit monitors and a DAC/soundcard/preamp, but that won't happen any time soon.

They're all from when I was a kid. The picture of the shelf isn't too good, but I've also got some Mario Kart figures, Link/Ganondorf, and a blue team Spartan (Halo 1).

Don't know if srs. I had a job at McDonald's working 40 hour weeks for 13 months, and just about every cent went towards what you see down there, particularly the computer setup. I was also a trash picker for a good while and found some of those electronics, as well as a bunch of outdated stuff from my old High School. You just gotta know where to look.

Yes, I do. The only reason they're still in the box is because my mom hid them from me so I wouldn't tear them apart.

Smart move on her part, I guess.

Like the work space. What's it for?

Nothing of value besides maybe http://www.flickr.co...mob/4696605685/ or if you are bored http://www.flickr.co...tanford&m=tags. Bloody fucking hippies.

Just any project I come across. Most recently I brought new life to my N64 controllers by correcting the wobbly joystick.

my gray N64 controller from christmas 1997 is pretty wobbly

Then I had a purple Pelican controller, where the joystick broke, a later-model Pelican with smaller handgrips, which had a broken R button, and most recently (probably the last year they had N64 stuff in gamestop) another silly turbo controller, this one red, with a broken trigger. Ugh.

The only controllers I've ever had break on me were:

1 Xbox (original) controller that took a nasty flight into the wall when I was playing Ninja Gaiden on its hardest difficulty. Fucking shattered.
2 Xbox controllers (one a madcatz), one got wound too tightly and had a fucked up internal cord connection as a result, and the other got tripped on and ripped the cord out.
1 Cube controller that got smashed while moving. Still works, the Z button is just in two pieces.

I think that's it.

a lot of my controllers' buttons and thumbsticks just wear out from overuse (not that that's surprising)
