Some guy growing mold in a jar. I became interested when I read this:

Good cripes. Interesting read, but scary as hell. I mean, the guy's growing, like, a bioweapon in his house.

Yeah, no shit. Didn't he say that one of the compounds his goo was producing was powerful enough to kill half the human population with a really, really tiny amount? I can't recall it off the top of my head.

If that's true, I'm sure it's just in the sense that the lethal dose is so low that he had enough of it to kill half the human population if they all lined up to get injected.

I doubt it's anything of that magnitude, though. Poison dart only frogs have enough venom to kill a few thousand people, and they're pretty potent.
