When NR noticed the board had been wiped, he at first didn't give a shit (and said "pull up your pants" which wasn't actually a rape joke at first, it was ryan that made it into one), and then came back a few days later saying "I'm going to pull random acts of hatred around here", banned and demodded a few people (I think) and deleted the few remaining topics. He also said something like "If I fuck this place up enough I can make something monumental", but I for one am still waiting.

Yeah, the monumental thing isn't happening. Not unless you have like a wad of cash around to pay NR to finally bring these boards up-to-date (security and feature wise).

IPB 3 is nearing final release and it's superior over IPB 2.

I don't mean features via board mods. I mean features that come by default with IPB installations/upgrades.
